Kata Molnár-Bánffy
Chief consultant and founder of Ladies First. She is a communication professional. She has fifteen-years of experience in this field. She had barely finished her studies at the university when she was invited to join the new communication team of the Prime Minister's Office. Soon she became the speechwriter of the Prime Minister and later the head of a copywriter team working for several ministries. She had the honor to closely observe the life of a real First Lady, who lived up to this job. In 2006 she became head of sponsorship at the MOL Group and as such she worked with several outstanding artists, sportsmen and representatives of NGOs. Kata is married with three children.
"It seems I have been working at totally different areas and had various experiences. But actually at all my jobs I have faced the fact that good communication is essential not only for companies and political parties. There are people who have to sell themselves. A politician is elected to a certain position if he/she is well-known, his/her job is appreciated and if people like him/her. A world champion can gain good sponsors if his/her self trademark is strong enough. My personal experience is that a woman with children and strong integrity is hardly considered a professional at work. At Ladies First we try to use all these experiences to help others achieve this."

"I agree with Kata's thoughts in one of her earlier essays: 'Before becoming known, self-knowledge is needed, before being appreciated, self-confidence is needed, before becoming popular, we need to accept ourselves' (Big Book of Speeches for Mayors. Raabe Counselling and Publishing Ltd, 2003).
Those, who work with people, help others or serve a community, use their whole personality in their work. For them personality is one of the most important tools, for they turn to others with their whole personality. That is why we need to understand ourselves well and keep ourselves in good condition.
Psychodrama as an intensive, colourful and creative method can be very effectively used even in these serious questions.”

„Every day at every encounter we hand over a visit card to those whom we meet, whom we look at, whom we pass by or whom we send an sms or an email to. The card with our most personal data – is our style. It tells others about who we are and who we want to become.
I do not believe a frog can be turned into a prince from one day to another, or that rearranging our wardrobe can change our life. But I have experienced how a well-packaged personality can boost our recognition, our appreciation and make us more popular.”
